17. A view in the opposite direction. Mill Street is on the right. The Post card is post marked 26th Feb. 1912. It is addressed in French (to France). The only sentence in English asks: "Did you put clean pants on last night?" !
18. A view down Mill Street. The shop on the left is now gone as have most of the other buildings on the left of Mill Street. The Bank on the right is now a Wine Bar. The taller building just after it was formerly the offices of Timperley's the solicitors, who had offices in Crewe from its birth. It is now the Reach Recruitment Agency.
19. Further down Mill Street. Most of the buildings seen here have long since gone. The tower of Christ Church can be seen in the distance, (centre).
20. Nantwich Road again. A more recent view of the Railway Station forecourt.
